Re: Thanks to all our vets!!!!!!
I would like to personally extend my hand and say thank you to every Veteran for their service to their country. I would also like to say many thanks to the families of our past and current military personnel. I especially want to say a big thank you all the wives and husbands of our military folks because it is also not easy to be home alone and playing mom and dad to the kids while our soldiers and sailors are performing their duty away from home.
As a US Navy Veteran myself, I know how it is to leave your family behind while you serve. Now that I have a son who has been serving his country for the past 8 years, I also know what it is like to have to worry about those who serve our country. I also know how proud I am that I served and maybe even more proud of my son who is serving today!
Please let me not forget our friends in Canada that also serve their country. I have served along side some of those men & women of the Canada Armed Forces and I am proud to call them my brother in arms.
And please let me not forget those who have served our country with the ultimate sacrifice and have lost their lives while serving. I will remember them every day!
Thank You!

Re: Thanks to all our vets!!!!!!
Last night there was a special on tv for our soldiers that dide in Afghanistan. We were watching my wife and I and it was very touching. They were some personnal videos on the soldiers, photos (in one of them the soldier was on his tank) and 8 minutes after he died on a bomb.
I gave a call to my friend's couple from Quebec city. They always share a week with us fishing for lakers in the summer at our camp. He is a Captain in the army. There 2 sons are also soldiers and I remember 2 summers ago, they were with us and they were watching there cell phones all the time because they knew they were in a dangerous mission at that moment.
Luckily both came back, alive and well.
