As many of you have known for some time Garmin purchased Navionics a little over a year ago. what we havnt known was when the products will merge giving both Garmin and Navionics users the best of both world. Well the time is here this is a lot of info so I will try to break it down in sections and if there is to much info I will hyper link it to the website.
The new products include BlueChart g3 / BlueChart g3 Vision cartography for Europe and North America, and new LakeV? g3 / LakeV? g3 Ultra lake maps for the U.S. and Canada. They will be available for purchase on accessory cards and via download for existing customers. In the U.S. and Canada, the new charts will also be preloaded on the new Garmin GPSMAP 8600/8600 xsv series multifunction displays.
For Garmin owners:
To get the latest Garmin coastal charts and inland maps with integrated Navionics data, Garmin owners can upgrade their cartography to BlueChart g3, BlueChart g3 Vision, LakeV? g3 and LakeV? g3 Ultra via accessory card or download.
For Navionics owners:
Navionics cartography featuring integrated Garmin data, is released as available in new cartography products and via download with daily updates.

- Have a plotter card? Plug your card into a PC and download. Or, if you also have our Boating app, do it wirelessly with Plotter Sync. Download

Attention all who fish Maine Navionics recently updated 56 lakes and added 734 more throughout Maine. The new additions, primarily located along Maine?s 3,500-mile coastline, include spot soundings that are marked on the chart as a number indicating the water depth at that specific point.
Here is an example of one lake that has been added (Ellis Pond)

Hey everyone I have a question. When you bought your last chart plotter did you purchase a bundled unit meaning it came with pre loaded maps or did you buy a separate mapping card. I posted a link below to the bundles that are available now and compatibility charts
