Lowrance lms 350a??????
Boat I just picked up has a lowrance lms 350a aboard is this unit any good for an older unit? It has two matter of fact. Boat came from western NY not far from Ontario. Also does anyone have any input weather I will need a kicker motor which I have a 7.5hp in the barn of my old boat. Guy I got it from says it troll at 1.9-2 without just from the main motor 305 V8. It's a 22ft bayliner trophy older 1987. Thanks in advance cpmale

Your speed seems fine, but, my 2000 Honda 9.9 four stroke gets 40 hours of trolling out of a 6 gallon tank pushing my Bayliner trophy 2002. No Joke. That's cheap fun right there. Plus it's pretty quiet, and doesn't stink too bad like my 2 strokes.
It's a bit of extra work to deploy and hook up the steering arm between spots, but, now I just make the boys do that.
You really should have a remote control throttle though. You can do it without that, but that might be the difference that would just make me use the main engine.
