Sutton river Ontario fishing trip of a lifetime

Post by Surprise »

Hey all I found this post of a trip Tom Booska and I did for ten years.

Our last was 2001 during 9/11 . This is a true Lewis & Clark adventure. 100 + trout days are normal with 18 inch bookies on every cast possible. We always used 5 wt flyrods with brass head black Wolley buggers being the hand grenade.

We started with Xavier Chookomolin as our guide and when GPS evolved into our life we did the trip On our own with his equipment. One year before satellite telephone we were 11 days late getting picked up and back to call home. When I called Kathy and said I'm Back....she replied that the mourning period is over and I'm dating again....Nice....

I don't know what it costs today but this story brought me back and I feel blessed to have experienced not just once.

Enjoy!
