I've been happy with my Minn Kota ipilot. Spot lock is great and I use the magnetic compass for autopilot steering with the kicker providing thrust and an extended skeg on the trolling motor.

Same here. Happy with my recent purchase of a MK with iPilot. spot lock is cool, havent used it much as I get bored jigging really quickly (which is weird as I love ice fishing). But the feature works reasonably well. I wouldn't buy the hype that it will keep you on the exact spot, but it keeps you pretty close, withing 15-20 feet it seems, better with a constant light-medium breeze one way than with variable direction breeze or calm IMO.
