Newbee.

Post by Riverrunt »

Just wanted to say Hi. To every one on Lake
Champlain United.
Haven't been fishing a lot this year so far.
But hope that changes soon.
Like to troll , most of the time, launch at Port henry, head north for Westport area,
I down sized my fishing rig, a couple years
Ago, but it gets the job done,
Catch 's stripers in the spring ,in the Hudson
River, then fishes local lakes, then up to LC
My name is on the side of my boat Riverrunt.
Don't know what channel you guys use, ?
When I find out, I will be on the air waves.
Thanks for having me RR.

Yeah, this was super annoying yesterday from Converse down to Westport. Set a line, pull another to clear weeds, repeat.

Yup, that brings back some memories, from years ago, I have been up in the Adirondacks
Since 94, just haven't been doing much trolling, in the last 15 yrs. When I had my bigger boat, I ran out to Ontario , Mexico bay, quite a bit. Then when gas hit $ 4.00 the first time, that was the end of that, and sold the boat. Now aim fully semi retired. And hope to get back on the water some more.
Just mounted a couple new tires on the trailer, pull out some of my old spoons , and polished them up.
I always kind of liked the Sutton spoons,
Silver , thin and flexible and the silver/ brass
Got a lot of stuff ,I have picked up from Norm's over the years. Getting ready.
