Private Message Function

Does anyone else have a great deal of trouble with the private message system on this site? Seems like 9/10 times I use it the message hangs up in outbox for a day, a week, or a month. Incoming messages seem to not arrive most of the time either. Would be nice if that feature was more consistent.

I don't have any problem with my PMs.
Your outgoing message will stay in your outbox until the recipient opens them.

On occasion I've had problems sending pms. Sent one yesterday and it worked correctly.

i havent had any problems with my pms that i know of. sometimes the person you are pm ing dont see it though or reply.

I have never heard of a system that leaves an item in the outbox instead of showing sent when it has been sent and delivered. That is likely what has me confused as I see a message in outbox and assume that means it hasn't actually been sent. I guess that explains it.
