Vermonter1 welcome; If you use ''microsoft office pictures manager" I put a way on the "avatar" thread also! Maybe that will help.

Welcome! If you're having trouble resizing a picture for your avatar, use this website! http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/ Just pick a picture, enter 230 for the size and then it will change it for you, hope it helps.
