Friday the 13th at Port Douglas

Post by rustyhook »

After trolling in the deeper areas of the lake in temperatures 55-60 degrees for salmon the results were negative. So, we headed to shallower water 75 - 90 feet where we saw lakers on the bottom.
Trolled in the area and managed to land 6 , one of which was released. All but 1 was caught on Fat Ivans and the other a Spin and Glow.
The wind got to be quite heavy so we had to cut the fishing short.
A great day was had as I spent quality time with my son.
Thanx, Matt (Relaxx) great advice.
