Re: Cottage Country
Thx for the positive feedback. I had a blast, fishing and otherwise. Definitely psyched to bring a new passion to an old stomping ground. I didn't notice any lampreys on those fish. One or two had what reminded me of bug bite irritations. I only cut four open, but stomachs seemed pretty empty for such a healthy population. I'd get a hit every 5-10 min morning or mid day, catch 1 /3.
That trip rolled into a weekend of camping on waterbury res. Good family times and fishing! Met WFW & DOCKSIDE BEN walking the dog a few times and talked shop. Dragging spoons in the am, I pulled up a few stockies. Mid day with the recreational boaters, no dice.
