Anybody Excited about the Upcoming Ice season

I am die hard ice angler and love to ice fish the many lakes in Vt . I know its early but anyone getting excited about the upcoming ice season ?

I have so much to do before I can even dream about ice fishing it's crazy. Heck, duck hunting starts in a few weeks and I haven't even got the boat out yet

I love to ice fish

I wanna try fishing on converse or town farm bay this year if anyone would give a shout when theres safe ice

kinda of a long haul from Milton to charlotte to check ice every weekend

What ice was there last year I wouldn't wanna be on. The very back of town farm had good ice and some good pike fishin but it got pretty sketchy out over the deeper water. 15+ft. At least when I was on it. W

how do you get onto town farm bay in the winter (when theres ice)

what road do you take is there plenty of parking

Parking for town farm bay can be a bit of a chore.
Years ago you could park at the camps but it's all posted now. If you know someone with a camp you're good to go.
If you don't you'll have to park down by the end of the point and walk around the corner for access.
Four wheeler would be handy if the ice is good.

cant wait for this weekend to be over one more outing for deer then the season is over here in ny. Now its time to get the ice fishing gear out and put it to good use. I love ice fishing with tip ups. I fish mainly south of the champlain bridge if anyone wants to fish sometime let me know always willing to have someone to talk to if my son don't go but that's not to often that he wont go with me . see ya on the ice cpmaple
