good times on the hardwater

31-1/2" pike on a tiny tungsten jig tipped with a spike, just shy of 7#.
Big yellows and some white perch from the inland sea.

Went up to St Albany’s Bay several years ago and had a lot of fun with the whites. Friend living there says it’s nothing like it used to be.

More whites being caught in the deep drop off out of Van Everest rather than St. Albans.
Good ice out past Burton, so look for them between VE/Savage to Burton/Ball islands.
LONG WALK! but the ice is good, little to no snow on top right now.

Unfortunately, their size isn't what all are accustomed to from the past few years, most are 9-10"
