I was out on Plattsburgh Bay on Tuesday. 6 - 8 inches of ice (half white, half black) until you got out to the end of the barrier, then it was 3 inches of black ice so I didn't press my luck by venturing further. Caught some perch that you had to work some to get. Caught about 6 dinks for every keeper. I'd be interested in some areas that are frozen that may offer decent opportunities for lakers. I'm not very familiar with the lake so am hesitant as I'm usually fishing by myself.
