Not a popular section here!
If that can help someone.
I fished for a few hours in st-alban bay yesterday. Caught 2 sm, 2 lg and a 36" pike. Not bad, the warmest water was 53, it's where I caught my fishs.

Please keep posting about you Bass and pike and all the other fish you catch. I wish more fishermen and fisherwomen would post about their catches. I would love to see good Crappie Pics.

I'm Jealous. We had Salmon last night witch was good but crappie is the best. Any info on finding them and catching them in Champlain would be Greatly appreciated.

Launching at the St. Albans access is safe/accessible, right? Are the docks in or is it too high?

P.S., to all those participating in the derby today, good luck and have a blast!! I wish I could have made it (for my first time) but could only make tomorrow work.

Last week, the water was over the concrete base but no problem to launch. No dock yet.

Bass are biting good right now, get out there and find some warm water. We found 50 in Mallets while trolling walleye, and landed 10 in the 3-4 lb range in about a half hour

Caught 2 monster smallies while trolling wally Saturday in the Lamoille, 1st one was 24" 5#, 2nd was 4.3# 23-1/2" 1st hit a crawler harness, 2nd hot a hunt tipped on a 3/8oz jighead.

1 wally for the day, surface water temp just under 45F until the sun came out late afternoon, strong current.
19" wally, had empty stomach.
