On a south wind:
Put in at Converse, and troll tight to Garden, or Thompson's out of the wind...
Put in at Lewis, and troll tight to Kingsland/Swifts...
Just a thought...

Fished yesterday from 1pm till dark. Stayed close to the rocks along tompsons and on the back side of garden island. Fishing was slow picked up salmon doubles by clems dock and a laker on the back side of garden. fished from 20 and up. I Think we are going to do the same thing later today. There were a few other boats fishing? Not sure how they did.

Re: Dang lake wind advisory
Last Sunday I put in at Lewis Creek because of the south wind, it wasn't too bad then, but I'm not going to bother since it is a lake wind advisory today even though it isn't blowing at the house.
The Lewis delta is really shallow, under 2 feet right now. I didn't hit many fish last week, couple bumps off of Kingsland, landed a small laker.

I was going to try and sneak out today for a few hours but the wind made me think twice. Looks like monday is out of the question also.

Yeah, today was going to be my last trip of the season, but I guess I'll keep the boat ready for another week.

Wind forecasts on the weather site I use doesn't look favorable for the next 10 days, hope that changes. Got a week off and would like to get out for a day.
Salmon, the other pink meat.
