Big crowd! Incredible feed! Nice meeting some new folks and the old gang! Congratulations to Sea Bill the 2011 Champion! And the runner-ups: Thorny / Capt. Mick / Supercab who finished strong in the top 6 fish.

We burned 7 gallons of fuel today (new record burn) on the Digitroll making a one hour run up to Willsboro early as we started setting lines at 7:45 am. where it was red hot for me 10 days ago fishing solo. It was great having the shoot-out team of Don and Mike for the 3rd year. Thank you guys for riding on my boat and these guys are great company. Don continued his blistering pace on the star side of the boat continuing from last Wednesday. We boated a lot of fish today including a brown and nothing measured over 20" but that didn't hurt our spirits as we were in hunting mode all 5 hours waiting for that screamer. Trolled back to the Boquet river where we packed it in. Mike and Don had some great snacks on the boat today!

Just a great time and thanks again to Randy to running this event and all the folks that brought food and it was great company at the BBQ. A perfect weather day and I think the nicest day for our shoot-out of the 3 years.

Hats off again to Randy and everyone that makes this event happen.
What a great time...a world class fishery and some of the fisheries TOP anglers congregated together for a fun time. The weather cooperated and it don't get much better than that.

Congrats to Sea Bill for taking the top spot with a beautiful Landlocked, and congrats to all that had fun...(That should cover everyone!)
The food was outstanding, the folks were even better!

My partner for the day WFW and I had a riot. The fish cooperated as we landed 27 fish with 18 being the targeted Landlocked...just didn't manage a fish over 20". Thanks Cheryl for joining me and the fleet for a great day on the water!
Ben was in class for his Captains license and was sorely missed.
No pix as we were far too busy rigging and reeling!!!

Fish on everyone!
Catch and serve with lemon.

thanks to Randy and all the guys and gals that helped with all the great food.My fishing partner.Paul and I both had a great time on the water while landing a bunch of fish which included a legal brown ,several lakers, and 3 salmon. we had one very large fish jump and spit the hook, but I think it was a steelie, anyway. sure would have liked to get a closer look at it ,though.there's always next year.

Hey,

I was at time at 7h00AM to hit the water and to get the biggest fish in my boat, but I had a huge fuel filter leak while I was quitting the boat ramp. I went back to the car, moved backward to the boat ramp, removed the boat from the water and tried to find a solution for this less than 120h motor.

Point Bay marina: Closed

Salmoneye stopped on the road to check what was the problem, thanks for trying to help.

Marina Plus inc (http://www.marineplus.us): the guy accepted to open sooner to help us. Here's me at work at 8:45 (instead of fishing):

I've finally hit the water at 9:10, 2h later... better than nothing ! :)

I've make some slow motion underwater video here: http://www.lakechamplainunited.com/foru ... f=17&t=565.

I was just sorry I didn't have anything in the truck that would work!

I now have a few pieces of fuel line, and I always have lots of zip-ties!
