Christening the Cathy-Jean

Post by Thorny »

Hi Everybody
After working on her until about noon, I filled the gas tank and we headed for the ramp. We slipped her in the water, sprayed some bubbly on her and went for a ride! Man...what a sweeeeeet ride! We met Reelax on the water with Raz and Hejack. We swung by for some quick picks and got down to business. All systems go! Everything worked great. All the electronics, new washdown pump and livewell worked great. We fished for about an hour and a half. The first fish aboard the Cathy-Jean was a white perch, caught by my sister in law Laurie. Nothing but white perch this afternoon and it didnt matter a bit. I will keep you posted as we expand the species count on the new vessel. Enjoy the Pics.

Rob

She looks great! I am sure it will be a great fishing platform and that enclosure looks great for early and late fishing! Let me know if you need crew.... sure beats fishing in the open center console!

Nice vessel. I'll watch for you on the water. On cold-miserable days I'll be very jealous.

She's a beauty Rob...you did a great job setting it up the way you wanted.
She's rigged...loaded, cocked, and ready to rock.
I'm glad those pics came out as good as they did.

Congrats on your outstanding efforts and accomplishments!

Great looking boat. You'll love it for years to come and have a great time on her with stories to come with friends. Enjoy.

Rob, You have to be excited. Great looking vessel and everything works. All you need is a salmon bite to round things out. Good luck.
