Thanks very much, I understand now. Fish upstream of the ladder if I like quiet and super challenging fishing, and fish below for a challenge as well but over more fish. Thanks for your updates here too; the river is new to me, and atlantics are a new species for me that I would like to try for. Good luck.

Maybe I'll throw another one at you. For reasonable wading conditions, what cfs should I look for at the Willsboro gage. It's 675cfs right now. Other than that info, I'm ready for a new adventure.

Anything up to 12-1300 CFS is wadeable - I would advise spiked wading shoes or stream cleats as the rocks are slippery.
Salmon, the other pink meat.
