Lake Champlain United - Forums

Never got to the lake this weekend. My wife wrenched her back, on Friday, and I can't run riggers alone, so I flailed/flyfished Salmon Hole for about an hour on Sat. It's the first time in 10 years that I handled the long rod, so clumsy was the word of the day. The rest of the weekend was for winterizing the camper and the old boat that'll be going in the Spring. Even started one of my vintage snowmobiles ('79 Pantera). I'll be finishing up a big project this week, then I'll have some weekday time, so I may be looking for company if anyone's interested. Just remember, if you've caught a salmon, you've got more experience than I do.
Glad to see that some folks had success this weekend and that the rest fished.

I took the kids to malletts creek for some sunfish action yeterday dunkin worms. I bet Malletts Bay launch was 80% full when I arrived at Noon. Just amazing for October 8th. 50% were bass trailers and the rest were rec. boats. Great day to be on the water.
