Wondering about boaters/non-boaters.
Was nice having Cas aboard The Office last year; actually a really nice time and I hope we both learned something- I know I did. But I believe Cas is fully functional in his own boat this year. Wondering if I should ask him or someone else with a larger boat for me to ride along...
Maybe I should just be adventurous and call plantstone to fish with him

Re: FROSTBITE SALMON SHOOTOUT 2011 (UPDATED!!!)
I'd like to try the Frostbite, but I need some fair weather experience before I jump into November fishing. Maybe by then I'll have caught my first salmon. I want to at least have a chance of competing if I'm going to be blue fingered for a day. It sounds like a blast. We'll see how the rest of the season goes.

Fishmaster - Frostbite time is some of the greatest salmon fishing of the year - the fish are on the feed and are a bit easier to catch then most other times of the year. It's a great time to learn to fish them and build confidence that you can catch them.
Salmon, the other pink meat.

Thanks Champfisher for the vote of confidence. I'll have to think about this one. Does everyone usually fish near Point Bay or just meet up after the fishing is done? Never fished in that part of the lake. I need to expand my horizons.

Dean and I will most likely be fishing aboard the Homewrecker if all goes well. He should be just back from Brazil (end of October) so a little rusty on the salmon fishing, but it's bound to be a fun time!!!

Arrangements have been made for a late haul, so Serenity Now will be joining the fleet for this year's shoot-out. Fish on!
