Great day on the water, only 4 Lakers, a few misses and a few Cisco's for us. Looks like Raz and WFW slaughtered them today, 27 fish landed with something like 18 of them being Salmon? It was fun meeting everyone, I had a blast on board Budget Bender with Casey and his father Randy. Looking forward to the Spring on the water maybe when things heat right up! Quite a few people showed up too, which was cool. Food was great, just an overall awesome experience.

The BbQ and ceremony was outstanding! We didn't get there until 1:30 pm. as we fished until 1 pm. and made a 20 minute run to Point Bay when we picked up.

Big crowd! Incredible feed! Nice meeting some new folks and the old gang! Congratulations to Sea Bill the 2011 Champion! And the runner-ups: Thorny / Capt. Mick / Supercab who finished strong in the top 6 fish.

We burned 10 gallons of fuel today (new record burn) on the Digitroll making a one hour run up to Willsboro early as we started setting lines at 7:45 am. where it was red hot for me 10 days ago fishing solo. It was great having the shoot-out team of Don and Mike for the 3rd year. Thank you guys for riding on my boat and these guys are great company. Don continued his blistering pace on the star side of the boat continuing from last Wednesday. We boated a lot of fish today including a brown and nothing measured over 20" but that didn't hurt our spirits as we were in hunting mode all 5 hours waiting for that screamer. Trolled back to the Boquet river where we packed it in. Mike and Don had some great snacks on the boat today!

Just a great time and thanks again to Randy to running this event and all the folks that brought food and it was great company at the BBQ. A perfect weather day and I think the nicest day for our shoot-out of the 3 years.
