Salmon at the Grand Isle Hatchery yesterday--videos

VT Fish and Game Grand Isle Hatchery crew doing what they do best. Some magnificent Salmon were trapped and were either returned to the Lake by truck, or retained for eggs and stripped as the run winds down for the season. A big thank you to Kevin Kelsey and his amazing team of dedicated staff.
Prior to spawning, the fish are held in the holding tank shown. A collection of some of the most beautiful Salmon in the Lake.They ranged between 5 and 10 lbs. with most being in the lake for 3 years.
This 9.25 lb Female's eggs will help the cause. See the video
