How is the population of Lakers in the Inland Sea?
Any, many, none?
Seasonal variations?
Many thanks for any info.

Just anecdotal, but I have heard that lakers in the inland sea are few and far between.

Not that they can't get into there, but there is currently no stocking of lakers in the Inland Sea. A few get caught every now and then

Desolved oxygen levels lead to lakers in the inland sea only in spring sometimes then they move out. A laker in the inland sea is a rare catch indeed...

My son caught one a few years ago. Pretty good one ... 27" or so, can't remember exactly. Caught in late July east of Savage. We were shocked. Only ever heard of one other, caught by an ice fisherman off the drop off in front of Sandbar beach.

I do on occasion see marks on bottom in 80-90' of water and I always wonder if they could be lakers.

We put 3 in the boat all the same day during the Rotary this year. Only lakers we've ever caught in the sea.

Nope, no size. Wouldn't ever catch a good one during a derby!
