Sandbar bridge clearance?

Post by Ahhspray »

Greetings - Planning to launch from Apple Island tomorrow in a 21' Starcraft CC with T-top (folds down). Can I still get through the sandbar bridge to Mallets? I prefer 3' of water minimum but can float the boat in +/- 2' and use elec bow-mounted motor if needed. Won't likely be able to roust all three kids up in time to make the early salmon bite on the IS so getting to lakers would be nice. We'd target bass and pike if all else fails. Open to suggestions. Maybe the extra drive time to launch into mallets would be our best bet? Thanks!

I wouldn't chance a big boat like that through there. Your better off going to Mallets bay launch. Went through last week and there was a good pod of gulls and geese on the Mallets bay side in some skinny water
