Renting ice houses

Post by CoolHandClyde »

Hello, I’m new to the forum and area. I have fished lake MilleLacs in Minnesota several times and am looking to do something similar on the eastern side of the country. I’m looking for a place where I can rent an ice house that is set up on the ice has propane fuel and sleeps 4 or more people. In MN we could rent a double bunk bed house with 8 holes, gas heater/cooktop/lights, and a bucket closet restroom. It was a blast for a weekend. Please tell me there is something similar at Lake Champlain or somewhere else north of NC. I’ve checked websites but can’t find anything clearly defined.

Try Holiday Harvest in North Hero VT - they rent set-up shanties on the Alburg Passage
