First Frostbite Feasts

Post by Surprise »

I was looking thru some fishing files and found these.

The Frostbite food gatherings were to holler out on the radio and whoever showed up shared what they had, Yack a bit and back to fishing :D

These were at Kingsland:

First here is me and Herb doing salmon fillets on diced tomatoes and steamed asparagus, rice pilaf and grilled garlic bread.

Next is on Cedar Beach dock Nov 15 1998

Venison, Squash Ginger soup and Hard Cider

Next looks like a Cocktail lunch with Grilled Beef Tacos

In the pictures Mike Blaisdell & Luke Poulin are no longer with us. The group of fishermen on Champlain Frostbiting are some of the nicest people anywhere, and it is a joy to share the time together. When we get past this Covid it will be nice to gather again!

I see salmoneye in a pic! You know I think I may have seen him trolling last week in a camo boat! Maybe it was a mirage, maybe not... I’m still
Wondering..

Great pics Randy... Your tradition stands strong!
