Those using a probe would be wise to remove the 4 AA batteries for the winter & any other battery-operated devices.(Digital scales)
I opened my probe cover and noticed a bit of condensation. Glad I checked it.
Inflatable PFD's don't like freezing temps, unless you're wearing it during Frostbite season!
