Let's hope this pans out and they dredge the access and perhaps even recommend river mouth too.

Description Consulting/engineering services to resolve sedimentation issues at the Colchester Point Fishing Access Area. The consulting/engineering firm or team shall have a strong background and experience in river dynamics, river morphology, river sediment transport modeling, river engineering, geotechnical engineering and structural engineering. The firm/team shall have considerable experience with the design and construction of steel sheet piling structures in a river environment. The chosen firm/team shall provide an assessment of the current fishing access area and sedimentation issues and the feasibility of alternative solutions.

Interesting! If they excavate the launch area, will that only make the mouth worse since they'll be stirring up all of that sediment?
