Keeseville

Post by njg0621 »

My family has a house on Lake Champlain in Keeseville for a week this year. I am going to take the boat and do some fishing for Trout\Salmon\Walleye. I am looking to see if anyone can give me any tips on where to go because I am completely unfamiliar. I have fished Westport and Port Henry before but never this far North. Do you think there are enough walleye to target them or am I wasting my time? Any pointers are appreciated! Feel free to PM, thanks!

There is a lot of good structure Schuyler and 4 brothers. Those areas hold walleye. I’ve caught them by 4 brothers in late June not fishin for them, so they are there. Not sure numbers

Definitely worth targeting them there. Right know is summer peak. Walleyes should be a schooling back up.
Night bite would your best bet, when the lake lays down.
And early am.

4 brothers has always been good for eyes. find one turn around and keep trolling that area back and forth with stick baits and yes vtmopar is right evening night and early morning. cloudy days will get your eyes also.
