expanded opportunities

The devil is always in the details. The "expansion" is, for the most part, just opening already open wildlife refuges and federal owned lands to hunting of additional species and/or expanding/extending hunting seasons. Occasionally fishing also, although I have no idea why fishing would not already be allowed. I say this after looking at the link in the article (furnished below).
It is my personal opinion that, contrary to the thrust of the article, any recent improvements that accrue to the good of average Americans is slight compared to the gains going to the rich (through income tax cuts) and to corporations (corporate tax cuts).
