Also, Drs. Eric Leibensperger (SUNY Plattsbugh) and Tom Manley (Middlebury College) have received Sea Grant funding to add additional instrumentation in the Westport - Crown Point region of the lake. Details to follow, but expect thermal profile data for those waters to also be available (in addition to the Valcour location) this summer. As with the Valcour buoy, this will be research gear - not designed/funded for long term monitoring. Still, should be good info for at least a couple of years.
