2019 DYP (draw your partner) Derby

Well hello Anglers, as the arctic freeze retreats to the north and reveals the waters we all have been patiently waiting to fish, it is time for the annual DYP. This spring Derby is becoming a premier event among the avid Salmon Anglers in this area. I am booking it for May 4-5 do to the late opening of the lake. So spread the word quickly and sign the line for the 2019 DYP.

I’m in with boat again... this derby has introduced me to some really good friends over the years... wouldn’t miss it.

To be clear. May 4th is the event with the 5th as a blow day if needed right?

I entered without a boat again. I would be glad to bring my boat if you are short of entries with a boat. I'm looking forward to meeting some more great fishermen and sharing a day on the water. Bring your "A" game because the competition is tough!

Hello again fellow frostbiters! It has been a long drawn out winter for all I'm sure. This event has made me an addict to the the Lake and is one of the only places I've ever met such a tight knit die hard group of true gritty sportsman as well as some the North Easts most knowledgeable fisherman. My form has been submit, non boater again! Anticipation has already set in! Ive been hitting it hard here down south since early Febuary and have a "few" packages of firm male fillets labeled "DYP" for the always anticipated shore lunch. Fresh is always best tho! Best to all and keep em tight!
