Mother nature permits, I plan on making the 2hr drive and putting my boat in the south of Burlington, VT or Port Kent, NY. Would appreciate any suggestions, realizing that converse bay and Point Bay Marina are probably not good options.

If we can keep the wet weather going in october converse will be good to go, just crowded. lake will likely be up to 94.25-50 after the rain we have had, which is low but manageable

It's a long ride from Port Kent to Point Bay Marina, specially if it becomes windy.
I suggest you launch from West Port instead. Converse is still the best option, it could be crowded but you can always find some space to park.

Getting pretty excited! Hopefully we have another nice weather day like the last 2, and hopefully the fish are biting!

just booked a room at the Westport motel,it is right next to the launch in wetport,89 bucks a night with plenty of parking for boat trailers and outside power for charging,she does have more rooms available.518-962-4501.
