Anyone heard from Jim @ Tamiron?

Post by Dodger »

Not sure if this has been asked & answered or not?
I read a while back, that Jim has an illness in the family.
Been checking his web site that says he will be back in May.
Anyone have any current news?

I called and left a message. We'll see if he returns it?

He has not returned it and his web site is still down. :?:

Maybe Tamiron is going to up for sale?

It is odd that Jim has not checked in here, regardless of what happens to the business?
Thanks for following up, Raz.

I have (heard from Jim)!

A lot has happened.

Needed the time to help my son start a business. I tried to keep up with what was happening ... Just found that I couldn’t multitask like I had done in the past. As much as it pained me, I was forced to set aside everything I was doing with the fishing lures.

It might take a while, but I’m going to try to ramp up both the site and my involvement in fishing once again. It is simply one of the most important parts of my life and it will be one of the last things that I ever give up.

No, RAZ, the business is not for sale (but if it were, you would be the first one I would tell).

They tell me that when you reach the Golden years and you have retired, you will have all kinds of time to do exactly what you would like! Don’t believe it. But I’m not complaining, really. I’m just glad to be back doing what I really enjoy.

To say that I’m rusty when it comes to developing new lures and taping patterns, is a significant statement understatement. But as we begin to ramp up, I hope to change all that.

The site was just put back online over the weekend in its old format … until the modifications are debugged. It should be fun to keep track of the progression we make as the site continues to evolve. /Jim

Yes, welcome back headed your way my honey bee's selection needs some company. These are one of the best trolling lures I have had the pleasure to run.

Bumping this...
Heard Tamiron would be open for business once again April 15 or before.
Jim's website mentioned it a few weeks ago.
Last week and tonight I'm unable to get on Tamiron's site.

Jim... you out there?
Anyone have any news?
Thanks in advance.
Tight lines this year.

Jim's website says opening delayed...website not ready.
Spoke with him on the phone and he is waiting to hear from a couple different web hosting services to see if they can do what he wants his site to do.
Hopefully soon he'll be up and running!

Thanks a lot for the report Raz.
For some reason I couldn't even get on his site the other day.
It will be nice to have him back.
