MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT PAINTING A SPOON

Post by Targa V18 »

I bought a airbrush yesterday and practiced for a half hour or so and couldn't take it any longer and had to try my hand at painting one. Not sure what it resembles but I think it came out pretty nice. I can't wait to try some others.

Thank you. It's hard to see the white pearl on the bottom also but it gave it a nice touch with the black on the top.

Here is my second attempt at a spoon. This one I painted with powder paint then mixed some extra fine Glo glitter in with the epoxy and top coated it. The picture really doesn't show the true affect of the glitter.

These are very nice colors and glitters, it should do well near surface and in the deep.

If I keep playing with them I'll get it right I hope. I did a couple including my very first one then scraped the finish back off with a knife to see how durable they are. seem pretty tough to me.

Here's a couple more. I really like the watermelon one. I'm going to call this one Remi-Roo after my grandaughter Remi.

I'm impressed. What are you using for a cup gun or airbrush?
