Florida Frostbite fishing crew

Post by Reel Delight (Walt) »

Not all of us can be real die hard Frostbite fishermen like Crazy Ivan and others. Some of us rather enjoy the ice cubes in our refresments as we try to keep cool in the sunny south as we fish in the Gulf. We did have a great day out on a recent charter and caught more Red Groupers than we usually can and it was without trying too. I guess the Groupers went to school and read that the season was closed from Feb 1st through March 31st. They were still great fun to catch and release. We also did do a good job in filling a couple pails with some Grey Snappers and they do make for fantastic table fare.

I think this was the perfect year to start being a snow bird because the winter has not been so nice up north.

Crazy Ivan's Dad and I are hoping to go out fishing tomorrow... :) we are hoping 3 more people decide to go out on the boat as they need at least 8 people in order to head out. If not, there will be another day this week. :P
