Post by drachma »

As of this week the schoolie stripers have arrive in the Piscataqua River in NH and in the Ogunquit and Saco Rivers in Maine. Summer fishing has arrived.

That's good news! My son and I had fun fishing from kayaks last summer under a certain restaurant on the Piscataqua. Caught a few schoolies and lost 2 good ones that got cut off on the pillars. Can't really control the big ones when they are pulling you and your kayak wherever they want to go!

I just moved down to 10 miles inland of Biddeford, ME last August and can't wait to get my Striper "learning phase" going. Let me know when you might be down this way. I have my 18' Trophy almost ready to go.

Sounds awesome! We always spend a week+ with friends in Exeter, NH in August. My son and I plan a few fishing adventures from there, including shore fishing and kayak fishing for stripers. I'll be sure to contact you before we go down this year ... maybe we can get together for some fishing!

Thanks for the offer!

Crayfish,

I fish out of kayaks too. Maybe we can.
