Not off to a good start
Not off to a good start
Hunted first weekend up at camp in Montgomery jumped one buck took me on a wild goose chase never did get a crack at him.Went back to work saw some nice bucks down on the flat land. Saw a nice buck in a field one mourning long shot but tried it missed. Then went back the next day and he put the slip on me but got another crack at him another miss. Told a buddy of the area and the amount of bucks and i decided to go fishing today and he cracks this beauty 8 point 196 pounds. I saw this deer before the season started but he wasnt the one i missed he got it about a half mile from where i missed a different buck they are chasing does good in the mourning but not much in the evening.

It seems like a lot of nice bucks being taken this year. Keep after 'em Jeremy...you'll bag yours!
Catch and serve with lemon.
