Re: Disappointed!
Not sure who was giving you crap about the keeler post, everyone knows the salmon are there each year. So screw those people. As for info, I don’t think there are a lot of Willsboro fishers on here TBH, most on this forum are East side or NY side south by westport. I have no info on that area, but m...

Big Inland Laker
The plan today was to head to Lake Harvey to scratch an itch, but my buddy backed out, so a last minute change of plans lead to fishing a different local lake. Headed out with my buddy Jacob who was along last year for the 22lb caspian pig. We got to the lake at around 11:30, arriving to clouds, win...

Caspian and Crystal report PB Rainbow
After spending most of last week trying to convince my friends that ontario was calling and failing to get any takers, I settled on a plan to prove to them that they were missing out. So we headed for the land of small lakers! Saturday with a full boat that included my wife we hit caspian. After las...

Re: Shelburne 3/28 Shakedown
We had a few decent trips last year for them. Seems they show up in early May, but we caught them all the way until LCI last year in the bay with consistency. Never a lot, couple a day, but there were some hot days. Last one we caught was first day of the LCI last year the blow that day turned the b...

Re: Shelburne 3/28 Shakedown
Hardwater didn’t go our way this year. No real nice fish, and the weather wouldn’t cooperate. Still got the hardside our on 4 lakes, and fished 3 new lakes, but not much to show for it. The snow and warm really screwed things up, seemed we would go from 50 and rain all week, to 6 inches of snow ever...

Shelburne 3/28 Shakedown
With F&W saying fishing was allowed, and a successful muff startup of the boat last weekend, decided to head to the lake yesterday. We launched at 7:30, crew of myself, my buddies Vinny, and Steve. Social distancing protocol had us topless, and sitting apart, but the 8ft beam made the 6 ft rule ...

They issued guidance today. Fishing and hunting remain open. They advise not carpooling with people from outside ur house. Maintain 6 feet separation. Thank god for an 8ft beam!

Re: Port henry - 12/7
I wonder if the salmon have moved north? Seems they should be South like they normally are, but with Chawk going all summer without one up north, maybe they have decided to take a journey to an area they haven’t visited? The hatchery returns weren’t terrible from the sounds of it, so they must be ou...

Re: Crazy Ivan your 2019 Shoot Out Winner
Congrats to Todd. And thanks to all who organized the event. It was fun as usual.
A trailer issue left me playing around under the boat at 5:30am in a Cumbies parking lot, and got us on the water an hour later than planned, but it was a nice day on the water. Looking forward to the DYP already!

Re: 10/20 converse
Me and 802fishtail saw you guys at the ramp heading out and coming back in. Similar day for us, landed 15 or so lakers, more hits. Most were under 22 inches. Highlight of the day was when I finally decided to go off plan and head to the deep water just off diamond where there were some birds working...

Re: Duck hunting and trolling
That is something I can’t understand, the migratory bird treaty oversees cormorants and ducks, so why are ducks legal to shoot but not cormorants?

This is what the law says
“From or by means of any motor boat or sail boat unless the motor has been completely shut off and/or the sail furled, and its progress therefrom has ceased.“
I know people who drift rivers in canoes for them, which is legal.
