The IS around Savage Island was good for Smallies, this morning. Light breeze and hungry fish made for a great Saturday on the lake. Great action in the 2-3 lb. range. Also had fun with some fat yellow perch.

With the water levels up, try the shallow weedbed along the east side of the bay and the Laplatte. Pick up a few Mepps Aglia #4 spinners with red/white blade. Dressed or plain. Both work. Casting along the weed edge, submerged logs etc.... Good luck.
