Re: Lake Memphremagog
Rookie here...I have only two photos same shot. The slight pink tint down his side may have fooled me. Again I'm new at this and the You Tube videos always show King Salmon, all bright silver. The fish jumped three times and Lynne was thrilled, (8 lb. test). So dark backs and silver sides with somet...

Lake Memphremagog
I finally got my 19ft. Sea Nymph in the water. Clear day with steady winds, showing 10" caps. V bottom med. size boat handled it well. Bass boats and little guys got blown off. Was a little disappointed that the Vermont section of the lake averages 25 ft. Two channel going to 35 ft. Just enterin...

Need boat trailer axles
Just figured out why the edges of both tires are badly worn. Bent axles. It's a 86' Yacht Club single axle. Anybody out there have any or know where I might start to search. I just got brand new wheels and tires but was suggested not to put them on until the axles are replaced.
Thanks,
Speedy

Down-Rigger Balls
Doing some last minute inventory and realize I could use 4 rigger weights. 10lb sound right in inland lakes, or would you recommend 8 lbs weight. Coated balls with fin are in most on-line companies. But in real life they don't have any in stock and or in their stores (Walmart,Bass Pro Shops,+) Any o...

Re: VT Fish & Game Report-Cup half Empty
Yes..missing something. I asked the basic question, "Being new to Lake Memphremagog, may I fish in all of the lake's water and NOT touch Canadian soil".. Answer NO. Comparing to New York and Conn. agreements with shared waters. I wonder if there is a Red Line in the sand/floating warning s...

Re: Any Recipes for cooking Rainbows?
After a lot of research and trial & error I have come up with a cure to get rid of that “Fishy” taste in trout. First I admit I was cleaning my trout the “Old School” New Jersey way, of gutting and cleaning the blood off backbone, scaling and freezing with skin on. Wrong! New way…Bleed the fish...

Ever wonder what is at the bottom?
https://i.postimg.cc/wx7WTFjG/Speedy-hit-bottom.jpg Ever walk along a stream and see a deep pool, and wonder what is at the bottom of it? Well found out the answer today. “Speedy Sucker” LOL Repainted my pool myself rather than pay $2,800. to a pool company. It’s 75 degrees today in Tucson and 89 i...

Questions on Lines
Remember the old 3 Stooges movies where they were tied back to back and told “Point Right”? Well that’s Me/Myself/and I. I could use some of your expert advice. I’m the new guy just starting out trolling. I have a couple new Okuma “Cold Water” reels and some others. I want to start out the season us...
