Interesting, for what I've gathered over the years is that Quebec really has a good handle on their fisheries.

The lake is getting trashed from the high ski boat traffic in the summer. Its not much of a fishing water anymore.

Western champlain or saint Lawrence?

Looking for suggestions for exploring ny fishing. I primarily walleye or pike fish. Looking at western champlain or possibly the saint Lawrence. Be June. I appreciate the help

Fished there last week , 3 of us caught 8.
2 were 24"
1 was 25"
Rest were all 18-19".
Champlain is better at night than during the day.
Carmi you can catch all hours.

Lake carmi is a good spot to catch eyes through the ice.

This time of year mouths of rivers and streams are good areas to find them.
Lake is low though makes it difficult.

Those are nice boats, there was one at boat headquarters this spring.
Looked at buying but they wouldnt even return emails or phone calls.
Then i talked myself out of it for a few more years.

Thats good. Willoughby has been slow last 5-6 weeks.
Orange mooselook is my go to on that lake.
Or anything that looks like yellow perch.

I used to tow my old boat 17' aluminum 2 outboards single axle trailer with my grand Cherokee no issues.
I would think your ok.
