Can’t wait! Hope the weather is reasonable

Hey Matt, tried to get you on 68 but I didn’t get out until after lunchtime. Glad to see you got into some nice silver. Rule for the day yesterday and today was shakers on cheaters out of temperature. Screens looked great but couldn’t hook up with anything hefty, yet.

I hope to be out again there on Saturday Matt, I was thinking of fishing Ontario but the reports have been dismal at best

I upped my main line size and had no flea issues at all, though I also dragged a stick around on 15 pound mono and that had no fleas either.

Couldn’t get out for the derby this weekend but I fished North of Northwest Bay today in conditions ranging from heavy wind to pouring rain, near calm and then heavy wind again, but I had the whole bay to myself and in two hours I got one nice silver for the box, a handful of shakers and a few knock...

Fished out of Westport for three short trips this weekend, collectively less than five hours. Boated six dinks, one small Laker, one fat healthy Laker, and lost a really nice silver pig at the net. Not one lamprey. Tons of bait and fish on the screen, overall it’s still pretty decent, my friend land...

Same here, four hours Sunday morning for some white and yellow perch. Screen was full of bait and fish, just not hungry I guess.

Very impressive brown! For some reason I haven’t hooked into a brown or a steelhead in almost 2 years out there. Will be at it again this weekend.

Interestingly, the Lakers I caught on Saturday out of Westport were coughing up small smelt, the silvers were stuffed with four-inch alewives
