Re: DYP winners
Thank you so much to Greenhorn and Homewrecker for making this tournament possible. It really gives new inexperienced cold water fishing people like myself a chance to learn from the seasoned experts. It also gives us all here a chance to meet each other in person. I also want to thank my partner De...

Re: A quick Sunday morning trip to the bridge
Hi Wobbler, Nice report. We just missed you there. We launched our boat from the bridge launch at 5:00 am. We launch from the bridge most of the time as it is one of the closest for us. It also gives us many options to choose from to fish. Right there for smallmouth, large mouth, pike and perch. Go ...

Painting your own Spoons
Has anyone had any luck painting their own spoons using fingernail polish? I picked up a bunch of blank hammered nickel trolling spoons at a garage sale for next to nothing. I see that my wife has a great assortment of fingernail polish colors (haven't told her my plan yet). My mind is thinking of p...

Mutiny Adverted Caught our first lake trout
Well the mutiny has been adverted. The crew (wife and 10 year old son) aboard Fishpole Thinking are finally happy. We caught our first lake trout ever and 9 more on Saturday for a total of 10. The crew is no longer complaining that trolling is boring and wanting to go back to fishing bass. They want...

Re: Our Friend in the Hospital.
I wish Jim well and a speedy recovery. I have looked at his website and see the honey Bee spoons come in different sizes. What is the best size for Lake Champlain and best order info to fill out? I have only bought about 8 of different Crazy Ivan so far at my local sporting store, but would love to ...

Re: Northern Wish
My son and I miss the roller coasters at La Ronde. My wife misses the botanical garden up there. Hopefully soon the border will open and we all can get back to normal. Have you ever tried Muskie fishing on the St. Lawrence? I have seen some fishing shows of that and looks wild.

Re: Strike Three on the River
Crayfish,
That's exactly where we were going to go after coming out of Shelburne bay. The dark clouds over Burlington scared us off. Maybe on Saturday we will try. Weather looks good. Thanks for the tip. I need to prevent the mutiny. hahaha
