I was wondering if Lowrance has an upcoming model change or just excess inventory. Seems like there are a lot of deals going now. I've seen the HDS 7 for under $1000 (still a chunk of change) and Hook 9 for $500 (a great deal).

For me a split, half silver and half gold, has consistently worked well. The Thomas Colorado spoon is a good example.

The tournament wrapped with a good time had by all participants. Canadian Doug Brownridge won the event with 20+ lb stringers each day. Vermonter Russell Philips finished in 7th. These guys and the other state leaders will go to the BASS Nation championship. The great thing about this format is that...
