Good boat you got! I know the original owner. Lots of fish have come over her rails. Should be a great ride!

Re: Couple dozen on the inland sea.
Great report Matt! Glad to see the sea still has some life. Last time out there for me with Rob all we could manage were a dozen shakers, that was a couple of weeks ago. By the way I love that first lure in the pic!love seeing a dragnballs producing fish!

Re: Isle La Motte
The salmon are a little south by then try Cumberland head area. I launch from Holecomb bay on the island all the time and it’s a 15 minute run down there. Pm me when you are up there and I can share the details

Re: Radio Questions
I have had a radio like this for a number of years, and yes it's like having a private line if you use the MMSInumber to call some one. The distress button will give the coast guard all the info on your boat and gps location if linked with a gps ( have mine linked with an older Eagle global map 500c...

Re: Gas Docks open in late Fall/Early Winter?
How bout an used side saddle tank from a 10 wheeler or similar truck, I have used them in the past when I was working for a Custom cropping outfit , held 80 gals and never had any problems with filling it at any gas stations. Had one for gas and one for Deisel.

Re: Trailer lights?
Hey Matt, do not seal those lights up as they need air both to keep them from coroding and to cool, the only ones that are sealed tight are the led ones. Just unplug when you get to the launch and the bulb will be cool enough not to pop when you back in. Just my 2cents worth as a tech with 20 year ex...
