What weight diver do you use for this set up Matt? I have tried a similar set up with the Mag but no luck..... Have only tried the stock weight that comes with diver so far. I think the diver moving around in air helps entice hits… Loose drag is key cause there is only 30 ft if line when you start:)

We try to match the set to the bite and just after Joe landed his big steelhead 8 ft down and other fish were taking bugs off surface right in prop wash we decided to try something new…

Weather looks better for 3 consecutive days than I have seen for a derby in a LONG time. This should be a blast!!!

Thanks for the report Gerry. I suspect we will have a challenging bite till we get a good thermocline setup to push them into a constricted depth… it will be a long troll during the rotary derby if this keeps up…
