Re: SPINY WATER FLEAS... PORT KENT.... PIC

I have not been out in over a month so I guess I have missed out on this problem so far. Are these guys just floating on the surface or are they down. Everyone talks about them sticking to there lines but how about the outboards? does anyone have a problem with them plugging up the motor where the w...

Re: IS Wednesday 8/13

The last few years I have totally given up on the IS come the middle of August.I don't care were you stop the ball be it 5 feet or 105 feet the white perch hammer it . I usually still use the state access but head out to the New York side and have never caught any white perch there.

Off the point it will tell me it.s 35 feet and I have my ball down 60 and I know it a couple hundred to 400 feet deep there. Also if I turn the graph off it will not read bottom until I get close to the rocks in ab...

Fished the 17th , 18th and 19 around Ausable to Port Kent ferry . Caught fish all days and some nice ones. On the 17th I got a nice 22 inch salmon down 45 feet inside the red can heading into the beach in 70 fow. The chart was dirty with fish in that area. I managed to catch a couple smaller salmon ...

I trolled to the south can out from Port Kent ferry and the water was very muddy so I picked up and ran down to Willsboro Bay. I picked up 2 quick lakers and then in the middl...

ryan's doe

My son Ryan called me tonight at 4pm and said he just hit one next to my stand. I got dress and headed out to him. After getting to the arrow I took a wiff and it did not smell good to me. We were able to track it only because it was kicking up the ground and the blood did not stick to well to the l...

big brown 7/18

Well the day started out as a skunk. I fished the dead sea for three hours with nothing to show. I decided that the wind was not to bad I pulled the riggers up and buzzed over to the Ausable river and started at the northern red can. When I got to the southern red can I picked up a decent silver at ...

Re: 5/3

Change out the impeller and you should be all set unless you kept trying to run the motor after she shut off on you because, then you will have other melted parts farther up on the block. Easy job to fix

Re: Fishing Boat Insurance

Stay away from Metlife. I lost alot of stuff . I was caught up with something south of the Sandbar bridge in 80 ft of water with riggers down 60's . Water spashed in the back of the boat and filled the boat to the gunnell. Got on the vhf for a mayday call and everyone came out. State police , colche...

Re: Brain dead lamprey

Michael I was out in the dead sea one day and after a half of trolling at 50ft I checked my line and there was a 15 inch sucker on my ball. I killed it and put it back down and checked it again in another half hour and there was another 15 inch lamprey on the ball again. Fish don't have a chance of ...
