Re: Tagged laker

Forgot… the orange Michigan Stinger was what caught 90% of the fish. Saw it on a Maine forum this past spring a guy was slamming salmon on it. No salmon for me but the lakers loved it!! It’s in the Stingray size. My personal opinion is that the spoon is appears a little large for our LC salmon. I t...

The trick is to flick the line vertical. Bring about 30 ft of line out of the water, set the but of ...

Re: Best way to remove water fleas

Thanks for the replies guys! I will try the relax method with a wet towel next time out. My struggle is them attaching to my braid line dipsy set ups. It was awfull last time out. It took me 10 minutes to get the line back in the water. Somebody need to invent a tool for this problem!

Re: Tommy Dubrow / Mike Morin / Jeff Light / Lucas Sweeny: LCI Salmon top ten

Had a tough derby with the wind, but was able to get into the sea. Caught a couple eating size salmon on Saturday before being blown off . Sunday stayed in Mallets without a bite. Monday on the Broad Lake was nice enough, but couldn't find any decent Lakers up in the Islands. Noth wind a surface te...

Re: Salmon at the sandbar

We fished the inland sea 3 weeks ago and we had a few hits. I reeled one in half way and the salmon started jumping out of the water. I’m guessing it was at least a 24”-26” fish. So they are in there! You may not get a lot of action because of the lack of lake trout but when the salmon hit they can ...
