Keelers starting up!
Keelers finally heating up, boated 3 real quick this morning and then they disappeared when the boat traffic came out. Then people finally started to disperse mid day and they wanted to play again. Boated one more and couple missed. One color lead off mini board running db smelts was the ticket. The...

Re: Round and round still nothing
Kyle... the spring bite in Keelers has always been flatlining Yozuri pin minnows for me. I usually add a couple split shot a couple feet up and a barrel swivel to get down a little deeper and to keep off the spring time debris. This set up has always done well for me there. I have done ok with the ...

Re: Round and round still nothing
Kyle are you using sticks or spoons? How long is your setback? Needs to be at least 100 ft, preferably 150 or so....Are you using fluorocarbon leaders at least 4’ long? How big is the hardware your using... try just a small barrel swivel to 5’ of 8lb fluorocarbon, to a duo snap that is as small as ...

Picked one pike 10.5-11 scale wouldn’t settle decent f...

Re: 2020 first trip
Nice ride Kyle, the salmon will come... Your boat would have smashed that ice and not thought 2x of it. I have ridden mine on plane all the way to keelers on skim ice... It is very looooooooud, but didn't hurt a thing! Running otters into ice flows does make for a mess, but if you break up all the ...

Re: 2020 first trip
No docks but the water is just up to the concrete dock thing so makes for easy and clean in and out of the boat.
